Congratulations to the NIBA on its 30th Anniversary! It is a true testament to the excellent leadership and members to remain relevant and have such a positive impact on the futures industry over such a long period of time. It is no small feat that the NIBA has been able to grow its membership base for three decades. Without a doubt, Melinda Schramm deserves much of the credit for this accomplishment. NFA Celebrates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

Congratulations to the NIBA on its 30th anniversary! As the self-regulatory organization for the derivatives industry, a critical element of NFA's mission is to ensure that all NFA Members understand their regulatory obligations. During the past few decades, NFA and the NIBA have often collaborated to develop educational materials, draft notices and deliver programs specifically customized for the NIBA's membership. NIBA Chairman and Founder Melinda Schramm and her team work tirelessly to identify these educational opportunities and ensure that each program successfully addresses the needs of derivatives professionals. Tradovate Celebrates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

For over 25 years I have watched the industry evolve and expand. New products and contracts routinely dot the landscape while firms morph and transform, adapting to this ever changing business. The tools and technology we use were barely imaginable when I started running orders at the CBOT in the 90s yet we continue to learn and build making this an incredible journey for all of us. But through this change there has been one constant; Melinda Schramm and NIBA have been there every step of the way. On Thursday, September 23, NFA and the National Introducing Brokers Association (NIBA) held a webinar that discussed recent regulatory developments in relation to current hybrid and remote work environments. During the webinar, representatives from NFA and the NIBA discussed, among other things: Preparing for a virtual NFA examination; Supervising employees in a hybrid or remote work environment; and Changes to the definition of a branch office. ADMIS Celebrates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

30 years ago, I received a cold call from Melinda Schramm that changed the course of my life. She asked if she could take me to lunch and introduce the brand-new National Introducing Broker Association to ADM Investor Services. At Ceres Café, Melinda described the vision for the NIBA and all it would accomplish as a strong and unified group representing the independent voices of the Introducing Broker community.
